Back from Paris~ Day 1

alrite guys.. it might have seem ages that you have heard from me.. or am i becoming one of those blogger freaks? anyways, i just came from paris yesterday at around 3pm london time by eurostar train. The trip was totally enjoyable n as good as my first one (yet i dont remember about my first trip there coz i was still quite small that time). Not only did i enjoy it, but i made new friends there!

Day 1
I went to brunei hall n sneaked into chia's room with my luggage ready to depart from london to paris. Shin, Chian along with Shin's bro, Boon Jing n his fren, Alan were there as well, all waiting for the paris trip to begin! First impression of Alan is a cheeky, mischievious guy. He fooled chia n chian that he didnt bring his passport with him, making them get worried.. well looks like they got worried~ =P

At 4ish am, we went down to brunei hall, got our train tickets from Faizah, then started making our way to the bus stop. Waited for the bus for round 20 mins in blistering cold wind in the early wee of the morning while the 6 malay girls took the taxi...

We reached King Cross St. Pancras Station at last, put our luggage down and went hunting for food... soon we were on the train~~

We reached Paris at last! No english signs anywhere to be seen, but we found our way to the counter where we purchased our 5 day tube pass.

Got off at Pigalle station (this is where our hotel is located) n first thing i saw was....

This place looks dodgy.. but luckily it was still morning (9ish). We had to rely on google map to find our way around!

Had a rest, then off we went being adventerous, trying to find a decent place have lunch. By this time, everyone was starving, so we settled for italian food.

Took the tube to Eiffel Tower and on the way there, we met this so-called artist who presuaded Boon Jing to sit down n let him draw a cartoon picture of his face. The picture ended up not looking like Boon Jing at all.. n that guy said "Cara-Cartoon??", meaning it is suppose to be a cartoon impression of his face with the Eiffel Tower.

Bought the tickets to go up to the highest level (3rd level) in the Eiffel Tower...

Everyone was exhausted from the train ride and all the exploring, so we decided to call it a day. Headed back to our hotel and took a sleep without dinner! However, this isn't the case for us guys. Boon Jing, Alan n i went out after taking a nap n had McDonalds!
Funny thing is that the McDonalds in Pigalle has a 'Double-up Meal', which is different from the one in London, where u only get a slightly larger size of ur meal. 'Double-up Meal' comes with 2 burgers, large fries n a huge cup of drink!

Walked around the Pigalle area, observing the night life there. It's a dodgy place as i first mentioned. Quite dangerous as well if you're walking alone. The whole street is filled with sex-orientated shops.. "Live shows" signs blink everywhere n people would just approach u, asking u to go in their shop/bar. Got back to our room safely n took a goodnight sleep.. eagerly waiting for tomorrow!
