MSoc CNY Dinner in AH KING!

Had an awesome chinese new year dinner at Ah King! paid only 7 pounds for this wonderful dinner! mmm reminds me of weddings in brunei for some reason~ :D

Dinner n CNY Preparations~

hey guys, its been a long time i have blogged. i m just too lazy to upload all the photos as it takes quite a long time.. thanks to ming n his uber huge images with his camera! :D dont take that seriously ey? :D

Met up with chai.. malaysian engineer i met in the MSoc ski trip. Had dinner in 'The Polo', a korean restaurant. very nice food. awesome~

Woke up early next morning at 5am to get ready for the Flat 4 Chinese New Year Eve party!

Got back home at around 9ish n started preparing.. cleaning, cutting n storing~

All the preparation n all the hard work.. at least i can say i learn how to de-scale a fish, clean prawns, mussels and squids properly now.. but by no means am i going to do that when i go back to brunei~ 8-) hahaha.

The Finished Product!

Sweet corn soup,steamed prawns with garlic n ginger, fried noodles with chicken bits n all sorts of vegetables, steamed sea bass with tomatoes, ginger n onions, fried parrot fish (apparently u cant eat the skin!), a pot of mussels dipped in a creamy buttery sauce with white wine lavishly spilled on top (exquisite stuff!), fried tempura prawns, crabsticks, capsium, bananas, squid (calamari), crab-box? (dont know what the round crab thing is called) n last but not least 2 plates of fried vege (carrots, brocolli, cauliflower) with a pinch of oyster n mushroom sauce

Fantástico (1st day of spring term)

i was aroused from my deep slumber by the bringing sound of my alarm on my phone as the song, "in the ayer" by flo-rida was being played. had my usual breakfast quickly before going to campus for a long, tiring day.. a bowl of muesli with milk. soon, i was off.. walking along the familiar path which lead to yet another familiar place.. room 220 where my lectures commenced.

time went past so slowly at the lectures today that i dozed off at maths n stress analysis. the feeling of being on holiday was still stuck in me.. i ain't use to waking up at 8:15am.
After lunch, i had a dreadful thermodynamics lab which involves working with an air conditioning unit. the process was so long-winded and boring but by no means is it easy at all. Finished at 5:30pm when the actual lab was scheduled until 5pm only.. =/

Alas, i get to go home after such a long day on campus.. to get home n be met by the 5 at 4 n dinner served was an awesome feeling~ curry chicken with rice n boiled carrots n fried eggs.

the clock soon struck 7pm... i need to go to leicester square to catch the ZORRO musical!
this musical is just as nice as the last one i watched (Imagine This~)!

i know i m blabbering alot about today.. dont know why.. i got 2 tests coming up this wednesday n yet i aint studying =/ need to focus!

GAZA PROTEST MARCH!!

as i entered trevor roy's salon located in high street ken for my hair-cut which i had longed for because my hair was really annoying me, i was met with this huge crowd of people doing the so-called gaza protest march! there was at least 45 minutes of solid protesting as my hair was being cut for a cheap price of 10 pounds!

apparently it looks like it was planned as i see the police stationed at places where the march was disallowed.
