Back from Paris~ Day 3

Day 3
Today, we woke up quite late, had breakfast at a nearby bakery shop then visited the Louvre'. This museum was split into 3 parts and was huge so we ended up only exploring the "Denon" part which had Monalisa in it. The tickets for over 18s were 9 euros each while the lucky under 18s had free admission (We didn't even need to buy the tickets as they weren't even checked at the entrance) So yet again, this is a scam n we could have cheated on our visit! N to make things worse, everything in the musuem was in French, so we didn't understand anything at all. We ended up walking around the museum, taking photos, posing n enjoying ourselves...
Lower Ground Floor

This is one of the famous sculptures: "Cycladic Idol"

We got quite hungry after a couple of hours examining at these magnificent sculptures and drawings, so we headed out to the open air to take some photos, then have some food...

Impressive sculptures on top of the Arc

Posing next to a mini-Louvre pyramid (some random people even took a photo of them posing!)

Next, we went to the Arc de Triomphe n to our surprise, there was a funeral happening there n the French were singing the national anthem there.. I am not sure who passed away though. We stayed there for a while then went off.

After shopping for a little while, it soon was night time... so we went back to the Eiffel Tower to take photos! Then out of nowhere the Eiffel Tower suddenly glittered in white light.. It was such an amazing sight! So beautiful~

The guys

Everyone with the Eiffel Tower

The scary thing about coming to the Eiffel Tower at night was that there were tons of black people selling the Eiffel Tower souvenirs... they would come up to u and ask u whether u want to buy them, some even followed us for a while... The funny thing was that the price dropped from "1 for 3 euros" to "5 for 1 euro" the longer we stayed...

Boon Jing with his hyper jump!

Me piggy-backing Boon Jing! so heavy~ haha

It was 9ish already, so we decided to head back to our hotel.. saw a Japanese restaurent on the way back n had dinner there..

Cheers! Everyone to graduate with 1st class honours n As for the A lvl students~
